How can MTSL apply to Rework?
Sometimes tools need to be reworked. Maybe a setting was misconfigured at manufacturing. Maybe an issue was identified late and we need to tweak a value. Maybe we're just trying to sort through thousands of tools and it'd be faster to group the based on some data that can be read from the electronics.
Why does it matter?
Why go through the trouble of defining rework functionality as MTSL Scripts?
Who writes these scripts?
Today (as of Q2 '23), MTSL scripts for reworks are a collaboration between REs and the JEDI team. We don't expect REs to take it on by themselves at the moment. Though, a few have done so.
