What's a BLE Advertisement Map?

A tool's BLE Advertisement Map specifies the position of each piece of data within the Manufacturer Specific Data portion of the BLE Advertisement

Why this matters

A standardized definition and access pattern allows us to automate tool usage data extraction from tools at scale

How is BLE advertisement data collected?

All phones running the consumer OneKey app collect and report BLE Advertisements from our tools. That raw advertisement data is uploaded to the OneKey system and then made available to the JEDI systems which use these BLE Advertisement Maps to coerce meaning from the raw data.

Advertisement Data Source

Parsed advertisement data is currently only supported for North American sources. Advertisements from other regions are not processed nor stored at this time.
