Overview

The MTSL Editor is the primary way for engineering and service to create, edit, and test MTSL scripts. Previously there was a separate window where this was done and the editor was engineering only. This editor allows developers and non-developers alike to create complex and efficient MTSL scripts using a visual workflow to abstract away from the raw JSON that MTSL is based on.

The MTSL scripting language is used across METCO from engineering, manufacturing, and service. It allows us to programmatically interact with tools and conditionally perform actions based on replies direct from the tools. The language definition can be found here: MTSL

The editor is split into several parts that are detailed further in these docs.
